The DuMond Conservancy hosts “Eyes on the Earth Festival”

On February 23, 2013, the DuMond Conservancy hosted a community festival entitled “Eyes on the Earth.” This environmental festival featured Dr. Kate Detwiler as its keynote speaker. Dr. Kate Detwiler was part of the team that discovered the elusive Lesula monkey in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Other presentations included performances by students from Mays Conservatory of the Arts, Momentum Dance Company, Mano Santa and environmental folk singer Grant Livingston.
